Research

Our research focuses on developing innovative solutions for energy storage systems through density functional theory (DFT) and ab initio molecular dynamics. We apply thermodynamic and kinetic modeling to investigate the properties of bulk materials, surfaces and interfaces. Our work targets next-generation Li-ion, post-Li-ion, and solid-state batteries, exploring diverse electrolytes and a broad range of cathode materials (LFP, NMC, NMO, LCO) and anode materials (metal oxides and carbon-based structures).
